Our very own Daniel DeBlanke (also of WESTERN BELLS) will be heading out on tour with WHITE SEA (aka Morgan Kibby of M83) this spring!

They’re starting on the West Coast with Phantogram in February, then SXSW and beyond.

New Seven Saturdays video feat. ROBOTANISTS’ Daniel DeBlanke!

With the 2013 Sundance Film Festival underway,  our favorite label, Overhead Records has released composer, songwriter and fellow ROBOTANIST, Daniel DeBlanke’s original music for the AFI, short film Pyro and Klepto (directed by Justin Chandra) for FREE for a limited time via Bandcamp.

Fellow ROBOTANIST, Sarah Ellquist also lent her voice and words to a few  songs on the soundtrack, to the film that premiered on January 16th, to phenomenal reception.

DeBlanke, isn’t a stranger to film, having co-scored the Official Sundance Film Festival Selection and performance pieceLoma Lynda Episode II, along with Ellquist.  His work has also appeared on the small screen, with songs on numerous TV shows like MTV’s Jersey Shore and ABC’s Private Practice. He’s also collaborated with other composers on shows for Nickelodeon, MTV, and the Disney Channel.
